Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Tricentis LiveCompare Resource to design, develop, and maintain LiveCompare workflows and Apps for SAP landscapes. The role will focus on SAP test impact analysis, custom ABAP code quality, change-risk assessment, transport analysis, and release optimization.
The resource will leverage LiveCompare’s workflow-driven capabilities to automate “what to test” decisions, integrate with SAP change-management tools such as ChaRM, and improve regression-test coverage and release confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, customize, and optimize Tricentis LiveCompare workflows to retrieve, compare, and analyze SAP objects, dependencies, code changes, and quality information.
Develop LiveCompare Apps to simplify workflow execution and parameter selection for business users and testing teams.
Build and maintain workflows to automatically identify custom ABAP code changes and associated dependencies.
Perform SAP Test Impact Analysis to identify used, impacted, and high-risk objects and determine appropriate regression-testing scope.
Analyze risk across SAP executables, users, roles, interfaces, transports, support packs, and other system changes.
Integrate LiveCompare with SAP ChaRM to initiate impact analysis based on change-request statuses and release processes.
Configure and support HTTP/RFC connections, REST APIs, and ChaRM action profiles for manual and automated impact-analysis execution.
Create reports and dashboards highlighting change risk, test gaps, impacted objects, and custom-code quality findings.
Manage LiveCompare workflows, Apps, schedules, workspaces, datasets, repositories, and role-based security.
Train QA/test teams on LiveCompare Apps, impact-analysis results, and optimized test selection.
Collaborate with SAP ABAP, Basis, QA, ALM/DevOps, and automation teams to integrate LiveCompare into the SDLC.
Align LiveCompare impact-analysis results with Tricentis Tosca and other test repositories/automation solutions.
Support Agile and DevOps processes and continuously improve SAP release and regression-testing practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience with the Tricentis toolset, including Tosca and LiveCompare.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on LiveCompare experience specifically for SAP Test Impact Analysis.
Minimum 4 years of experience with other Tricentis products and integrations.
Strong hands-on experience with LiveCompare workflow authoring, including actions, parameters, datasets, templates, Apps, scheduling, and workspace/repository management.
Strong knowledge of SAP landscapes, transports, ChaRM processes, SAP object dependencies, and custom ABAP code.
Experience with LiveCompare impact analysis, dependency discovery, comparison actions, risk analysis, and reporting.
Experience integrating LiveCompare and SAP ChaRM using REST APIs.
Experience with SAP testing and regression-test optimization.
Familiarity with Tricentis Tosca and test automation.
Minimum 4 years of Agile and DevOps experience.
Experience with PowerShell, Power BI, and SQL Server.
Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) Pipelines.
Strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
