About the Role
We are recruiting IT Deployment Technicians to support a large-scale workplace technology rollout involving the installation of approximately 4,000 monitors and monitor arms.
The role is primarily a hands-on hardware deployment position and requires technicians who are comfortable working with desktop equipment, monitor mounting systems and basic IT connectivity.
Key Responsibilities
Install and configure monitors and desktop display equipment.
Install monitor arms and VESA mounts securely and correctly.
Perform basic troubleshooting of displays, USB-C connections, docking stations, and peripherals.
Use hand tools safely and effectively for installation tasks.
Perform proper cable routing and cable management.
Ensure all equipment is installed according to deployment standards.
Complete installations within assigned deployment targets and timelines.
Maintain accurate documentation and provide completion reports.
Identify and report any hardware or connectivity issues encountered during deployment.
Perform repetitive installation tasks while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
Requirements
Hands-on experience with monitors, desktop hardware, or similar IT equipment.
Knowledge of monitor-arm and VESA installation.
Basic understanding of display connectivity, USB-C, and docking stations.
Comfortable using basic hand tools.
Good cable management and installation skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deployment targets.
Physically capable of performing repetitive installation work.
Good documentation and reporting skills.
Professional and reliable approach to client-site work.
