About the Opportunity:
The BENEFITS SPECIALIST role is designed to assist union members in navigating their benefits programs. This position plays a key role in helping members understand available coverage, supporting enrollment and claims, and maintaining strong relationships to enhance member satisfaction. The role contributes directly to improving members' access to and utilization of their benefits, impacting their well-being and financial security.
Responsibilities:
Assist union members with benefit-related questions
Educate members on available coverage and programs
Support enrollment and claims processes
Build relationships with members and their families
Maintain accurate documentation and records
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve member concerns
Provide outstanding customer support and follow-up
Requirements:
Strong communication skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Dependable and self-motivated
Comfortable speaking with people over phone and Zoom
Organized and detail-oriented
Customer service experience is helpful but not required
