Job Summary
A Senior .NET Application & Accessibility Consultant is needed to lead full-stack development, legacy code remediation, and testing, using AI tools to speed up the work. The role centers on scanning and fixing legacy .NET web applications so they meet WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA and ADA Section 508 standards. The consultant will also take ownership of legacy Crystal Reports PDF reports and convert them into accessible PDFs.
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and modernize enterprise web applications using C#, .NET, .NET Core, Telerik UI, and HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript frontends.
Run ADA scans on application code, then plan and apply fixes to legacy .NET applications.
Audit front-end interfaces with screen readers (NVDA), WAVE, and Claude AI automated scans, and lead remediation to meet WCAG 2.1/2.2 Level AA and Section 508.
Execute systematic code remediation across complex C#/.NET applications.
Audit legacy Crystal Reports PDF code and convert the reports to accessible PDFs.
Build compliant, dynamic PDF reporting modules (tagged PDFs, reading order, structural elements) within .NET workflows.
Use GitHub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC) Copilot and Anthropic Claude to accelerate accessibility auditing, refactoring, documentation, and test generation.
Experience
7 years in .NET Core / .NET
8 years in ASP.NET Core (MVC/Razor/Web API) and C# enterprise patterns
Hands-on experience building accessible PDF output with .NET PDF libraries
Hands-on experience with GHEC Copilot and Anthropic Claude (Claude Code, API, or enterprise interfaces)
Proven experience with CI/CD automation and release engineering
Key Skills
Languages and frontend: Native JavaScript (ES6+), modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid, CSS Variables, SCSS), semantic HTML5, Telerik
Standards: W3C web standards, cross-browser performance optimization, responsive design patterns
Accessibility: WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA, WAI-ARIA authoring practices, ADA Section 508
Accessible PDFs: Tag trees, alternative text, reading order, table headers
Testing tools: Claude AI, NVDA, WAVE
DevOps: GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, pipeline configuration, git workflows
Eligibility & Qualifications
At least 7-8 years of relevant .NET and ASP.NET Core experience
Expert-level knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA and Section 508 compliance
Proven track record of legacy application remediation and accessible PDF generation
Working knowledge of enterprise AI tooling (GHEC Copilot, Claude)
