Role Description The Transport and Logistics - General Manager role at Nexfore Consulting is a full-time, on-site position based in Navi Mumbai. This role is responsible for overseeing daily transport and logistics operations, including planning routes, coordinating shipments, and managing transportation resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. The General Manager will supervise logistics staff, monitor performance, and maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and customer service. Key responsibilities include optimizing transportation management systems, resolving operational issues, liaising with clients and vendors, and implementing process improvements for greater efficiency. The role also involves preparing reports, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with other departments to align logistics activities with business objectives.

Candidates should possess proficiency in using logistics or ERP software, data analysis for operational decision-making, and basic MS Office skills.
A bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications in logistics or transport management are an advantage.
Candidates should possess the ability to work on-site in Navi Mumbai, demonstrate problem-solving skills, and maintain a safety-focused, compliant approach to operations.
