Client: An Australian-based privately owned electrical and engineering contracting company
Role: Payroll Officer
100% remote
Role Overview:
Handle end-to-end payroll processing for Australian employees.
Manage timesheets, leave, deductions, allowances, and payroll adjustments.
Ensure compliance with Australian payroll, tax, and superannuation requirements.
Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations.
Address employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies.
Requirements:
Must have an Australian payroll experience.
Knowledge of Australian tax, superannuation, and employment regulations would be an advantage
Experience with Xero, MYOB, Employment Hero/KeyPay, or similar payroll systems
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Willing to work Australian business hours and holidays
