About Us
We're Linewise, an AI research lab in SF (YC). We work with the top AI labs on physical intelligence — basically teaching models how real engineering works, how parts get designed, iterated and machined. That knowledge sits inside design firms and factories rather than on the internet.
About the role
We are looking for someone who already knows machine shops, and is trusted by them, to build this network from the start. You will find and sign shops, build the partnerships that bring shops to us at scale, and keep the network active and growing.
Key responsibilities
Win shops
• Find and sign CNC shops that make end-use parts for customers: mould & die, hydraulics, machine builders, automotive and motorcycle suppliers, and electronics and medical equipment makers
• Visit owners, explain the programme, close paid trials, and onboard shops properly (contract, NDA and shop profile)
• Be each owner's main contact, on Whatsapp and in person
Build partnerships
• Set up and run referral partnerships with industry bodies, machine-tool and cutting-tool dealers, Autodesk resellers, industrial estates and technical universities
• Organise owner events, seminars and trade-show activity, for example at Metalex
Grow the network
• Run the Founding Partner and shop referral programmes
• Support our engineer community with our senior CAM engineer: certification, recognition and a reviewer group on Whatsapp
• Bring back what shops need so we can improve the offer and the onboarding process
• Report weekly on shops contacted, visited, trialled, signed and active, and on what each partner has brought in
Requirements
• 3+ years selling to CNC machine shops or manufacturers in Thailand, for example cutting tools, machine tools, CAM software or workholding
• A personal network of shop owners and production managers you can call this week
• Enough technical knowledge to talk credibly about machining centres, CAM, toolpaths and setups
• A record of building partnerships or sales channels, not only closing individual deals
• Fluent working English
