About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP Full-Stack Developer with strong expertise in SAP CAP, Node.js, SAPUI5/Fiori, and S/4HANA integration.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and deploying end-to-end applications on SAP BTP. You will work across the backend CAP service layer, S/4HANA integrations, APIs, security, workflows, and modern SAPUI5/Fiori user interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop applications using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) with Node.js.
Create CDS data models, service definitions, custom event handlers, validations, and draft-enabled entities.
Integrate SAP BTP applications with SAP S/4HANA using Destinations, Cloud Connector, and OData V2/V4 APIs.
Develop and expose OData V4 and REST APIs from CAP for UI and external consumers.
Build responsive SAPUI5/OpenUI5 and Fiori Elements applications.
Convert Figma or similar designs into pixel-accurate SAPUI5 interfaces using custom CSS/LESS where required.
Develop dashboards, dynamic tables, multi-step forms, file uploads, conditional rendering, and draft/save functionality.
Implement Arabic/English localization and RTL support where required.
Implement end-to-end role-based access control (RBAC) using XSUAA, scopes, role collections, and CAP authorization.
Configure and deploy applications through SAP Build Work Zone and manage routing/authentication using standalone approuter.
Integrate applications with SAP Build Process Automation and SAP Event Mesh.
Manage MTA builds and deployments across SAP BTP Cloud Foundry environments.
Support CI/CD pipelines, application testing, defect resolution, and production deployments.
Collaborate with architects, functional consultants, designers, and other development teams to deliver scalable enterprise applications.
Required Skills & Experience
5–7 years of SAP development experience.
2–3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP BTP and CAP.
Strong experience with SAP CAP and Node.js.
Strong knowledge of SAPUI5/OpenUI5 and JavaScript (ES6+).
Good understanding of MVC, fragments, formatters, and custom UI5 controls.
Strong understanding of OData V2/V4.
Hands-on experience integrating SAP BTP with S/4HANA.
Experience with SAP Destinations and Cloud Connector.
Experience with SAP BTP services such as SAP Build Work Zone, Approuter, Event Mesh, Connectivity, and Destination services.
Knowledge of XSUAA, scopes, role collections, and CAP authorization.
Experience with MTA development and Cloud Foundry deployment.
Experience using Git and modern development workflows.
Experience with SAP Business Application Studio and/or VS Code with CDS tooling.
Good to Have
Experience with Fiori Elements and CAP annotations.
Arabic/English localization and RTL application development experience.
Knowledge of ABAP, RAP, CDS Views, and OData publishing.
Experience with SAP Cloud Identity Services (IAS/IPS) and SAML2/OIDC.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as SAP Continuous Integration and Delivery or GitHub Actions.
Experience with CAP Java or TypeScript.
SAP BTP certification.
Experience working on public-sector or regulatory projects.
