QA Engineer

We're looking for a QA Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience to join a growing engineering team working on enterprise-grade or SaaS-based applications. You'll own quality across the full testing spectrum — manual and automated, API and database, mobile and backend — while integrating test execution into CI/CD pipelines and communicating release readiness to engineering leadership. This role requires a structured, detail-oriented engineer who thrives in agile delivery environments and can maintain and extend a test case library as the product evolves.
What you'll do
Write, review, and maintain test cases covering functional, regression, integration, API, database, and mobile testing
Execute manual and automated test cycles using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress with clear defect reporting and documentation
Validate APIs using Postman, write SQL queries for data integrity checks, and verify backend data flows end-to-end
Test mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms as part of the standard release cycle
Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines ensuring tests run on every build
Log, track, and verify defect fixes through the full defect lifecycle using Jira or TestRail
Own release quality metrics and communicate readiness status directly to the engineering lead
Participate in sprint planning and design reviews to support shift-left testing practices
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers on requirement clarification and QA process improvement
Maintain test plans, test reports, and runbooks to a consistent, documented standard
What we're looking for
5+ years of hands-on QA engineering experience in enterprise-grade or SaaS environments
Strong manual testing skills across functional, regression, integration, and UAT test types
Test automation experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress integrated into CI/CD pipelines
API testing proficiency using Postman and SQL skills for database validation and backend data flow verification
Mobile application testing experience across both Android and iOS platforms
Hands-on experience with test management tools such as Jira or TestRail and Git version control workflows
Solid understanding of defect lifecycle management and structured defect reporting
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related Engineering discipline
ISTQB Foundation or Advanced certification is a plus
Background in SaaS companies, B2B product houses, or enterprise software teams preferred
Experience with FMCG, field force automation, CRM, or large-scale distributed systems is a strong plus
