SuccessFactors Integration Lead
Location: Remote (Offshore)

The role will be responsible for designing and delivering robust, scalable, secure, and reusable integrations between SAP SuccessFactors, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Employee Central Payroll, SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, identity platforms, banking/payroll systems, and third-party applications.
The role requires strong hands-on expertise across SuccessFactors Integration Center, OData APIs, Compound Employee API, REST/SOAP services, Intelligent Services, event-based integrations, SAP Integration Suite, SFTP/file-based integrations, and SAP BTP, along with strong understanding of SuccessFactors business processes.
10+ years of SAP integration / technical experience, with significant experience in SAP SuccessFactors integration.
Minimum 6+ years of hands-on SAP SuccessFactors integration experience in a Implementation/ Roll Out Project
Strong experience with Employee Central integrations and employee master-data replication.
Strong experience with SuccessFactors APIs, Integration Center, Intelligent Services, and SAP Integration Suite.
Experience supporting integrations involving Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll, Time Management, Onboarding, Reporting/Analytics, and other SuccessFactors modules.

Key Responsibilities
Own the overall SuccessFactors integration strategy and technical approach for the rollout.
Assess business and functional requirements and determine the appropriate integration pattern:
Standard SAP integration
Integration Center
OData API
Compound Employee API
Intelligent Services
SAP Integration Suite
SFTP/file-based integration
REST/SOAP services
Event-driven integration
BTP-based extension
Define integration principles, standards, naming conventions, security standards, error-handling patterns, monitoring requirements, and deployment practices.
Establish a reusable integration framework aligned with the global SuccessFactors template.
Minimize point-to-point interfaces and promote standardized enterprise integration patterns.
Assess integration impacts resulting from North American localization and entity-specific requirements.
Work with the Global Template and Functional teams to identify all integration requirements.
Determine which integrations should be:
Global and reusable
Country-specific
Entity-specific
Temporary
Design reusable interfaces capable of supporting multiple legal entities wherever practical.
Maintain an Integration Inventory and Interface Catalogue covering all global and local interfaces.
Ensure every interface has a documented source, target, business purpose, frequency, owner, data scope, security model, and support responsibility.
Support end-to-end integration scenarios for the SF Roll Out
Have expertise in Design and implement interfaces between SuccessFactors and SAP S/4HANA.
Support integration of relevant:
Employee data
Organizational data
Cost center information
Company/legal-entity information
Workforce-related data
Time/payroll information
Coordinate master-data synchronization and ownership.
Define frequency, sequencing, dependencies, and error-handling requirements.
Work with S/4HANA functional and technical teams to ensure consistent data models.
Support reconciliation between SuccessFactors and S/4HANA.
Troubleshoot cross-system integration failures and data mismatches.
Lead integrations involving Employee Central Payroll, including Payroll-related downstream interfaces & Third-party payroll integrations
Design, build, and maintain integrations using SuccessFactors Integration Center.
Develop scheduled and event-based integrations.
Optimize Integration Center solutions for maintainability and performance.
Determine when Integration Center is appropriate versus SAP Integration Suite or custom API-based solutions.
Maintain reusable Integration Center templates and standards.
Design and implement integrations using supported SuccessFactors APIs.
Design event-driven integrations using SuccessFactors-supported event capabilities.
Identify business events suitable for real-time or near-real-time integration.
Establish retry and exception-handling mechanisms for failed events.
Lead detailed data mapping between SuccessFactors and downstream/upstream applications.
Coordinate with functional teams to resolve ambiguous or conflicting data requirements.
Develop and coordinate technical integration testing.
Design integrations to support future rollout waves and additional legal entities.
Identify potential performance bottlenecks before production.
Support performance testing for critical integrations.
Assess the impact of SuccessFactors releases on integrations.
Review integration dependencies during SAP releases and upgrades.
Provide integration leadership for cutover activities.
Own technical resolution of SuccessFactors integration defects.
Coordinate resolution with functional, technical, security, Basis/BTP, and third-party teams.
Perform root-cause analysis for recurring failures.
Identify permanent corrective actions rather than repeated manual workarounds.
Support production incidents during hypercare and transition to steady-state support.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of SAP integration experience including SuccessFactors Integration Experience
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on SAP SuccessFactors integration experience.
Multiple end-to-end SuccessFactors implementations.
Strong Employee Central integration experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Integration Center and SuccessFactors APIs.
Experience integrating SuccessFactors with S/4HANA.
Experience integrating SuccessFactors with third-party applications.
Experience with SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration.
