Role Description
We are looking for a SQL Backend Engineer for a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India.
The role is suitable for fresh graduates and technology professionals interested in backend development, SQL, database engineering, software development, REST APIs, data integration, application development, cloud technologies, automation, and modern software-engineering practices.
The SQL Backend Engineer will work closely with software, IT, data, analytics, operations, finance, production, supply chain, sales, and other business teams to develop, test, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve backend applications, databases, APIs, data-access layers, internal platforms, automation solutions, enterprise systems, and digital services.
The role may involve working with SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, backend programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, Node.js, PHP, or Go, REST APIs, ORM frameworks, cloud databases, testing tools, and modern backend technologies depending on project and business requirements.
Qualifications
B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
Freshers and experienced candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Candidates with 0–5 years of experience in backend development, SQL development, database development, software engineering, application development, API development, data engineering, or related technology roles can apply.

Candidates from IT services, SaaS, product companies, technology, consulting, e-commerce, fintech, telecom, analytics, manufacturing, logistics, FMCG, or other industries are welcome.
Basic to good understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
Familiarity with SELECT statements, joins, subqueries, aggregations, views, stored procedures, functions, triggers, transactions, indexes, constraints, and query development will be beneficial.
Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, SQLite, or similar relational database systems will be advantageous.
Understanding of database design, normalization, primary keys, foreign keys, referential integrity, schemas, data modeling, and relational structures will be beneficial.
Exposure to query optimization, indexing strategies, execution plans, database performance, and troubleshooting will be considered an advantage.
Basic knowledge of at least one backend programming language such as Python, Java, C#, JavaScript/Node.js, PHP, or Go will be beneficial.
Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, Flask, FastAPI, .NET, Express.js, or similar technologies will be advantageous.
Basic to good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, CRUD operations, API integration, authentication, authorization, and client-server architecture.
Exposure to ORM technologies such as Hibernate, JPA, SQLAlchemy, Entity Framework, Sequelize, Prisma, or similar data-access frameworks will be beneficial.
Familiarity with database connectivity, connection pooling, transactions, persistence layers, and backend data-access patterns will be advantageous.
Exposure to MongoDB, Redis, or other NoSQL databases will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
Exposure to ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data transformation, data integration, data validation, or data-processing workflows will be considered an advantage.
Familiarity with Git, GitHub, version control, branching, pull requests, code reviews, debugging, and collaborative software-development workflows.
Exposure to API testing, database testing, integration testing, unit testing, Postman, PyTest, JUnit, or similar testing tools will be beneficial.
Exposure to AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, managed databases, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar technologies will be considered an advantage.
Basic understanding of Linux, command-line tools, application deployment, database configuration, logging, monitoring, and production-support concepts will be beneficial.
Exposure to data warehouses, data marts, reporting databases, business intelligence, Power BI, Tableau, or analytics platforms will be advantageous but is not mandatory.
Familiarity with database security, user permissions, role-based access, backups, recovery, data integrity, and secure coding concepts will be beneficial.
Exposure to microservices, message queues, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, caching, asynchronous processing, or distributed applications will be considered an additional advantage.
Exposure to automation, analytics, AI/ML, ERP, CRM, dashboards, reporting systems, or enterprise applications will be beneficial.
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Jira, SDLC, technical documentation, requirements gathering, sprint planning, or issue tracking will be advantageous but is not mandatory.
Good analytical, logical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication, documentation, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
Ability to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into practical, reliable, scalable, maintainable, and secure backend and database solutions.
Willingness to work in an on-site environment.
Internship, academic project, SQL project, database project, backend project, API project, data project, web application, GitHub project, hackathon, freelance assignment, startup project, or open-source contribution will be considered but is not mandatory.
Candidates without previous full-time backend or database-development experience can also apply.
Strong willingness to learn new backend frameworks, database technologies, APIs, cloud platforms, development tools, and modern software-engineering practices.
