Are you a hands-on automation architect passionate about Playwright, modern test engineering, and building scalable automation solutions?
NewVision is looking for an experienced Playwright Architect with 8+ years of experience to lead the architecture, engineering, and evolution of our next-generation automation frameworks.
🔹 What You’ll Do
Own and define Playwright automation architecture, frameworks, design standards, and best practices
Build scalable UI & API automation frameworks using Playwright + TypeScript
Establish POM, reusable components, fixtures, coding standards, reporting, and automation patterns
Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines and enable parallel and cross-browser execution
Drive automation strategy, adoption, ROI, and engineering productivity
Mentor automation engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and troubleshooting
Partner with QA, Development, Enterprise Architecture, and DevOps teams to establish enterprise-level quality standards
🔹 Must-Have
✅ 8+ years of experience in software testing/automation, with strong hands-on Playwright & TypeScript expertise
✅ Proven experience designing and implementing automation frameworks from the ground up
✅ Strong knowledge of POM, fixtures, hooks, assertions, locators, reporting, and parallel execution
✅ Experience with API automation and UI/API integration testing
✅ Strong experience with Git and CI/CD, preferably Azure DevOps
✅ Experience with cross-browser testing, debugging, test data, and environment configuration
✅ Strong coding, problem-solving, architecture, and technical leadership skills
🔹 Nice to Have
⭐ Playwright MCP, AI-assisted testing & GitHub Copilot
⭐ Docker, cloud platforms & containerized test execution
⭐ Azure DevOps Test Plans and test management integrations
⭐ Experience defining automation maturity models, governance, standards, and CoE practices
