Professional Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in Direct Tax, preferably from Big 4 firms or CA firms
Preferred Add-ons: Experience working with clients in Gujarat International Finance Tech-City (GIFT City), exposure to international taxation or cross-border tax issues
Soft Skills: Strong communication (verbal & written), client handling, teamwork, attention to detail, professionalism, independence, and objectivity
Educational Qualification: Graduate degree (MBA or CA not preferred for this role)
This is work from office. All F2F interviews as well.
Target Candidates: Graduates only (MBA/CA not preferred). Candidates with experience from Big 4 firms or CA firms are preferred.
Client Support
Research & Support the seniors in replying to queries raised by clients on issues such as capital gains computation, trades reconciliation, tax payments, return of income, etc.
Support in preparing the income-tax return for clients. Undertaking technical research on the income-tax provisions impacting the taxation of clients.
Understand the basic technical issues during reviewing data related to assignment and bring discrepancies / additional data requirements to the attention of the team.
Preparing submissions in relation to assessment and appellate proceedings for clients and support seniors in appearing before the income-tax authorities.
Support in handling administrative responsibilities for allocated clients such as engagement letters, filing of client papers, billing follow-up, etc.
Client Delivery
Researching & scrutinizing all aspects of the assignment with the team to work on the base report of the assignment.
Supporting the team in drafting memos/opinions and reports, for client presentation
Coordinating with team for obtaining necessary documents, recording all the documents related to assignment secured to ensure smooth closure of assignment.
Provide support for hearings/ submission of appeal,
Collating documents/forms/returns internally to maintain accuracy.

Demonstrating professionalism by working within legal and regulatory guidelines while remaining independent and objective at all times
Research & Technical Inputs
Conduct exhaustive research for the clients in line with their expectations. Ensure usage of all tools (External market data/internal portals) to generate effective research.

Work constructively with team to evaluate and improve personal and team performance.
Internal Processes
Assist in collating data in drafting engagement letters and important client communications accurately. Maintain data controls of research papers.
