Graphic Design Intern

Company Description Ember Foundry is a strategic insight practice founded by Ishita Kheterpal. We work with Indian promoter-led businesses on the questions that matter before a decision is made, such as market behaviour and fit, competitive position, consumer trust.
Role Description The Graphic Design Intern role at Ember Foundry is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The intern will assist in developing visual concepts, creating graphics for digital and print materials, supporting logo and brand identity projects, and preparing design assets for client presentations and social media. Daily tasks include collaborating with designers on project briefs, refining layouts, performing image editing and optimization, and maintaining consistency with brand guidelines. The intern will work closely with the design team, receive feedback on work, and participate in brainstorming sessions to support ongoing campaigns and internal initiatives.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess foundational skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, including working with layouts, typography, and visual composition.
Candidates should possess skills in Logo Design and Branding to support brand identity creation and refinement.
Candidates should possess skills in Image Editing, including basic retouching, resizing, and file optimization.
Familiarity with industry-standard design tools (such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software) is beneficial.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to follow creative direction, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with a team is required.
A portfolio demonstrating relevant design work or academic projects is strongly recommended.
