Job Description
Post - Lab Technician cum Qc Executive
Location -Dholka- Ahmedabad
Key Responsibilities
Quality Testing: Conduct routine and advanced testing of peanuts, peanut butter, and related nut/oilseed products for physical, chemical, and microbiological parameters.
Chemical Analysis: Perform aflatoxin detection, moisture content, oil content, peroxide value, and protein analysis to ensure product safety and nutritional accuracy.
Certification Compliance: Ensure products meet FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, and other relevant certification standards across peanuts and similar nut/oilseed categories.
Process Audits: Perform in-process checks during production to maintain consistency and prevent contamination.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of test results, certifications, and corrective actions.
Supplier Quality: Evaluate raw peanut and nut/oilseed suppliers for quality assurance and compliance.
Training: Train production staff on hygiene, safety, and quality protocols.
Continuous Improvement: Recommend process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of food safety standards (ISO 22000, HACCP, FSSAI).
Hands-on experience in peanut and peanut butter testing (aflatoxin, moisture, sensory evaluation).
Familiarity with QA/QC tools (SPC, root cause analysis, CAPA).
Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams (production, R&D, supply chain).
Transferable expertise from tree nuts, oilseeds, nut-based spreads, legumes, or nut confectionery.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, or related field.
3–4 years of experience in QA/QC within peanut, peanut butter, or similar nut/oilseed industries.
Certification in food safety or quality management systems preferred.
