Job Overview
The accountant provides support to the Finance department by assisting with various financial tasks and maintaining accurate financial records overlooking SEA-based entities under the portfolio. He/She will work with the Operations Controller (SEA), to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Work alongside the accounting team to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, (Including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end reporting requirements (Journals/Recons/Group reporting).)
Knowledge of project reporting and project accounting to support the preparation and delivery of monthly project reports. Assist the Finance Manager with project tracking and reporting.
Handle all AR-related matters (Invoicing/ Receipts), Handle all Inter Co Activities (Invoicing/ Loans / Recharges), SBLC and BG Issuance / Renewals, Assist and be part of the Statutory audits and liaise with respective auditors to ensure a smooth auditing process and finalisation, Ensure all statutory and compliance matters are handled (Audit, Tax, AR Filing etc)
Provide administrative support for the local entities in streamlining and internal controls
Ensure all monthly group reporting is done for entities under the portfolio.
Any other duties/tasks assigned by supervisors and providing support to the team.
Requirements
Bachelor’s in Accounting /Commerce / ACCA / CA Singapore
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance-related role. Experience in External Audit would be an added advantage.
SAP S4 Hana proficient, Proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
