About the Role
The Outside Sales Representative is the face of K&H Home Solutions in the homeowner’s living room. You will meet with pre-qualified homeowners at their properties, understand their exterior needs, and recommend the right combination of windows, doors, siding, and roofing solutions. This is a consultative sales role: you will listen first, educate customers on their options, build a clear and honest proposal, and guide them from first conversation to signed agreement. Appointments are pre-set for you—no cold calling and no door knocking—so your time goes into presenting, negotiating, and closing. You will work closely with our production and operations teams to ensure a smooth handoff once a project is sold.
What You’ll Do
Attend pre-set, pre-qualified leads with homeowners, demonstrating K&H Home Solutions’ windows, doors, siding, roofing, and related exterior products and services
Conduct on-site assessments and measurements of the home’s exterior to identify needs, damage, and improvement opportunities
Analyze each customer’s goals, budget, and timeline, and recommend effective solutions that fit
Deliver thorough presentations and prepare clear, accurate estimates and proposals using company pricing, tools, and software
Set detailed expectations with customers on what they will receive, including product features, warranties, financing options, and the installation process
Negotiate, handle objections, and follow up promptly with transparency and confidence, never pressure; build repeat business and referrals
Maintain accurate records of leads, appointments, proposals, and sales activity in the company CRM
Coordinate with project coordinators, production, and installation teams to ensure a seamless handoff and a positive customer experience
Complete a 3-week paid new hire training and participate in ongoing training and development
Meet or exceed sales goals while representing the K&H Home Solutions brand with integrity
What You Bring
Required:
Previous business-to-direct-consumer sales experience
Strong negotiation and selling skills, with the ability to analyze customer needs and provide effective solutions
Self-motivated and results-oriented; a competitive spirit is a plus
Strong communication skills and comfort with CRM tools, tablets, and proposal software
Ability to work at least one weekend day per week and evenings as needed to meet homeowner availability
Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and an acceptable driving record
Ability to pass a background check, in line with company policy
Ability to climb ladders, walk roofs and uneven terrain, and work outdoors in varying Colorado weather conditions
Preferred:
Direct experience selling windows, doors, siding, roofing, or related exterior remodeling products
Familiarity with insurance-related roofing or siding work and the claims process
Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas

100% commission; estimated on-target earnings of $100,000-$200,000
