About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

About the Role
Publicis Global Delivery (PGD) is looking for a Senior Social Media Analyst – Paid Media to join our growing Media team.
We are looking for a performance-driven professional with 2–3 years of hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns across major advertising platforms. This role will be responsible for campaign activation, optimization, performance analysis, and reporting across multiple clients and markets.
This is a hands-on activation role. Candidates must have direct experience building, launching, managing, and optimizing paid media campaigns within advertising platforms.
What You’ll Do
Manage the end-to-end execution of paid social campaigns, from campaign setup and activation through optimization and reporting.
Build and manage campaigns directly within platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Google Ads, Pinterest Ads, Snapchat Ads, and X Ads.
Develop and implement targeting strategies across different audiences, markets, objectives, and campaign types.
Monitor campaign performance and optimize budgets, bids, audiences, placements, creatives, and frequency to achieve performance objectives.
Analyze campaign results against KPIs such as CPM, CPC, CTR, CPA, CPL, ROAS, conversions, reach, and engagement.
Monitor pacing and delivery and proactively identify and resolve performance or campaign setup issues.
Conduct regular campaign QA to ensure accurate targeting, tracking, budgets, creatives, placements, and campaign settings.
Provide actionable insights and optimization recommendations based on campaign performance and audience behavior.
Prepare regular performance reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.
Work closely with Media Planning, Creative, Analytics, and other teams to ensure paid social activity aligns with broader media strategies.
Support testing strategies across audiences, creatives, formats, bidding strategies, placements, and campaign objectives.
Stay up to date with changes in social advertising platforms, privacy regulations, measurement solutions, and paid media best practices.
Mandatory Hands-On Experience
Candidates must have direct, hands-on experience activating and managing paid media campaigns within advertising platforms.
Strong hands-on experience with the following platforms is expected:
Meta Ads Manager
TikTok Ads Manager
Google Ads
Experience with additional platforms such as:
Pinterest Ads
Snapchat Ads
X Ads
LinkedIn Campaign Manager
Reddit Ads
Other relevant paid social platforms
is highly valued.
Important: Candidates whose experience is limited to media planning, reporting, strategy, community management, organic social media, or coordinating with activation teams without directly operating paid media platforms will not be considered.
What We’re Looking For
2–3 years of hands-on experience in Paid Social, Social Media Advertising, Digital Media Buying, or a similar role.
Proven experience building, launching, managing, and optimizing paid media campaigns directly within advertising platforms.
Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and Google Ads.
Experience managing campaigns across multiple markets, audiences, or clients is a plus.
Strong understanding of audience targeting, bidding, budgeting, campaign optimization, attribution, and performance measurement.
Strong analytical skills and ability to identify trends and translate data into actionable recommendations.
Solid knowledge of paid media KPIs including CPM, CPC, CTR, CPA, CPL, ROAS, conversions, reach, and frequency.
Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
B2+ English level, with the ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working with global clients or multicultural teams is a plus.
What Makes This Role Senior?
The Senior Social Media Analyst should be able to independently manage campaigns, identify optimization opportunities, troubleshoot performance issues, and make data-driven decisions without relying entirely on a senior activation lead.
You will be expected to understand not only how to activate a campaign, but also why specific optimizations should be made and how they impact overall media performance.
If you have strong hands-on paid media experience and are ready to work with global brands, international teams, and a wide range of digital advertising platforms, we'd love to hear from you.
