About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

This is a fully remote role within the USA. We are seeking candidates working in or who have former consulting experience. Base Salary $140,000-$160,000 + Bonus & Equity.
About the Team
The Strategy & Analytics team focuses on systematically improving our customer and service provider experience and increasing the efficiency of our Operations organization, which comprises 500+ contractors across Growth and Customer Care teams. We are the source of truth on analytics and analytical tools.
This team is a vehicle to bring in top analytics talent to our business. This role will have high visibility and work with stakeholders in operations, product, and finance. Potential career paths are rising within Strategy & Analytics or moving into a GM-style role owning a P&L in Growth or Care.
We are looking for a Strategy Manager to join our Strategy & Analytics team to drive new projects in the Operations organization with a rigorous analytics lens.
What you will do:
Design and implement experiments to stand up new Operations motions that drive company value, working end-to-end from building playbooks and training agent teams to reporting on statistical significance and ROI. These projects might look like testing the impact of rolling out a new live chat feature or starting a team to contact idle customers or cleaners to re-engage them.
In partnership with data analysts, build out KPI reporting for new and existing Operations motions using SQL, Tableau, and Google Sheets/Excel and own weekly reporting to COO and other Homeaglow management.
Requirements
1-3 years of experience in a technology or consulting company, and a top-tier university degree in a quantitative field (engineering, business/economics, mathematics, etc).
You’re an expert at pulling data in SQL and are comfortable in Excel/Google Sheets. Familiarity with visualization tools like Metabase, Power BI, Looker, Tableau is helpful, but not required as long as you’re willing to learn.
You have a natural curiosity to leverage data to solve problems and identify opportunities.
You’re unafraid of ambiguity. Rapid change and learning is exciting to you, and you thrive in ambiguous, startup environments.
Familiarity with basic statistics and experimental setup.
Excellent problem solving and communication skills, and experience driving projects independently.
