Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with strong hands-on experience in both Manual and Automation Testing. The candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, developing automation scripts, and ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
Develop and maintain automation test scripts and frameworks.
Analyze business and technical requirements and prepare test scenarios.
Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
Perform API testing and validate application functionality.
Perform database testing and data validation using SQL.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to resolve defects.
Participate in defect triage and provide detailed defect reports.
Ensure software releases meet defined quality and testing standards.
Contribute to improving QA processes and increasing automation coverage.
Mandatory Skills
4+ years of experience in QA/Software Testing.
Strong hands-on experience in both Manual and Automation Testing.
Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Experience in creating test scenarios, test cases, and test reports.
Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
Experience with API Testing using Postman or similar tools.
Good knowledge of SQL and database testing.
Experience with defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Programming experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar for automation.
Knowledge of Git/GitHub/GitLab.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
