About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

Internship Title: Market Research Intern
Company: Atraski
Location: Delhi HQ, Chittaranjan Park
Employment Type: Internship, In-office (4/6 months)
Stipend: ₹5,000 per month
Working Days: Monday to Friday + Alternate Saturdays
About Atraski:
Atraski is a full-service digital marketing agency operating as At Buzz, with offices in Delhi and Kolkata and in-house production and events arms (Atraski Studios, Atraski Events).
We run close to 40 client accounts across D2C, F&B, fashion, real estate, and EdTech, and we're midway through a deliberate restructuring to build a leaner, more profitable agency without losing the founder-led judgment that got us here.
The Opportunity:
Every new client relationship starts with understanding the market, the category, the consumer, and the competitive landscape. Existing client relationships also require continuous research as markets, audiences, competitors, and trends evolve.
This role sits at that intersection: turning scattered information into clear market intelligence that can support pitches, client accounts, content planning, brand decisions, and business development.
You will work across different categories and industries, researching what is happening in a market, why competitors are doing what they are doing, how audiences are behaving, and where opportunities may exist.
What You'll Do:
• Research markets and categories for new business pitches, client accounts, and internal projects.
• Conduct competitor research across websites, social media, campaigns, products, pricing, positioning, and communication.
• Track market trends, consumer behaviour, emerging categories, and relevant industry developments.
• Research target audiences, their preferences, interests, pain points, online behaviour, and changing expectations.
• Analyse competitor social media activity, content formats, campaigns, messaging, and audience engagement to identify patterns and opportunities.
• Turn research from multiple sources into clear, structured findings that can be used by the strategy, account, and creative teams.
• Prepare research reports, competitor comparisons, market maps, trend reports, and presentation-ready summaries.
• Support pitch preparation by providing category insights, competitor intelligence, audience research, and relevant market context.
• Conduct research for existing client accounts to identify new content, campaign, positioning, or growth opportunities.
• Maintain organised research databases, competitor trackers, and a reusable library of market and category insights.
• Monitor relevant digital platforms, industry publications, social media conversations, and emerging trends to keep research current.
What We're Looking For:
• Strong internet research skills and the ability to find, compare, and verify information from different sources.
• Clear, structured thinker, able to turn a large amount of information into a concise and useful summary.
• Genuine curiosity about markets, businesses, brands, consumers, and why people make certain choices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to distinguish useful insights from surface-level information.
• Comfortable researching unfamiliar industries and getting up to speed quickly.
• Strong written communication and ability to present findings clearly.
• Comfortable working with PowerPoint/Google Slides and Excel/Google Sheets.
• Comfortable working with tight deadlines and fast-turnaround research requests.
• Final-year student, recent graduate, or early in your career; prior internship exposure to research, marketing, consulting, business, or consumer insights is a plus, not a requirement.
• Based in Delhi.
The Learning Track:
This internship is built around three overlapping areas of work:
• Understanding markets through category, competitor, and industry research.
• Understanding consumers through audience behaviour, preferences, and digital trends.
• Turning research into useful insights that support pitches, client accounts, and marketing decisions.
Expect exposure to real client categories and leadership-level discussions, not just desk research. The goal is to leave understanding how good market intelligence is built, analysed, and applied to real business and marketing decisions.
How to Apply:
Interested candidates can submit their CV and relevant work samples/portfolio to hr@atraski.com.
Please mention Market Research Intern – Atraski in the subject line.
