PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
We're looking for someone with a strong technical foundation in modern data engineering practices, along with hands-on experience in the following areas:
Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark for large-scale data processing
Hands-on experience with AWS data services: S3, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, Step Functions, and Lambda
Snowflake or Databricks experience is a strong plus
Familiarity with API-based and batch ingestion patterns
Solid grounding in data modelling, data quality frameworks, partitioning strategies, metadata management, and lineage tracking
Prior experience working with commerce, retail, media, or CPG datasets is preferred
AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Data Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) is must
