Managing Director - Morogoro

We are seeking to recruit a highly accomplished and visionary Medical Doctor with a strong background in Family Medicine / Family Medical Care to serve as the Managing.
Our Company is an integrated, technology-enabled home healthcare initiative established to transform the way healthcare is accessed and delivered by bringing professional, coordinated and patient-centered healthcare services directly to individuals and families within their homes and communities.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Managing Director will assume overall responsibility for the strategic, clinical, operational and commercial leadership of the Company.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Provide strategic and executive leadership for the Company
· Lead the establishment, growth and expansion of its home-based healthcare services
· Establish and maintain strong clinical governance, patient safety and quality assurance standards
· Lead multidisciplinary healthcare services involving doctors, nurses, laboratories, pharmacies, diagnostic services, telemedicine and other healthcare professionals
· Develop programs for family healthcare, chronic disease management, elderly care, preventive healthcare, post-hospitalization care and continuous patient monitoring
· Establish strategic relationships with hospitals, insurance companies, corporate organizations, healthcare providers and other key stakeholders
· Drive business development, revenue growth, operational efficiency and long-term financial sustainability.
· Recruit, develop and lead high-performing clinical and operational teams
· Champion the effective use of digital health, telemedicine and remote patient monitoring in home healthcare delivery
· Represent Company in high-level engagements with healthcare institutions, strategic partners and other stakeholders
· Provide regular strategic, clinical, operational and financial performance reports to the Board
Required Qualifications.
· A recognized Doctor of Medicine (MD/MBBS or equivalent) qualification
· Valid professional registration and practicing credentials
· Postgraduate training or significant professional experience in Family Medicine, Family Medical Care, General Practice or Primary Healthcare
· Demonstrated healthcare leadership or management experience
· Strong understanding of patient-centered and family-centered healthcare
· Strong commercial, entrepreneurial and business-development capabilities
· Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills
· Understanding of digital health and technology-enabled healthcare delivery
· Ability to develop, manage and scale a healthcare organization
· Added advantage: Experience in home healthcare, private healthcare, health insurance, telemedicine, healthcare entrepreneurship or healthcare business development
