Senior Freelance Cognite Supply Chain Transformation Consultant - Europe
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Cognite Supply Chain Transformation Consultant to support a global Medical Devices and Life Sciences organization in designing and digitalizing its Supply & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Supply & Operations Execution (S&OE) capabilities.
The consultant will help shape future-state planning processes, decision-making frameworks, and digital supply chain capabilities while supporting the evaluation and adoption of Cognite within a highly regulated global environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design and digitalization of S&OP and S&OE processes.
* Define business requirements and translate them into scalable digital solutions.
* Support the evaluation and implementation of Cognite capabilities within supply chain operations.
* Improve planning visibility, decision-making, and meeting effectiveness.
* Facilitate workshops across supply chain, operations, manufacturing, and planning teams.
* Define performance metrics, KPIs, and governance structures.
* Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and solution architects.
* Drive adoption of new digital planning capabilities.
* Identify opportunities for AI-driven planning and inventory optimization.
* Support organizational change and process transformation activities.
* Recommend best practices for integrated planning and operational decision-making.
* Align stakeholders around future-state planning processes and operating models.
Required Experience
* 8+ years of supply chain transformation experience.
* Strong understanding of S&OP, S&OE, and integrated business planning processes.
* Experience with Cognite or similar industrial data and digital transformation platforms.
* Experience driving process design and business transformation initiatives.
* Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
* Experience operating in global, cross-functional environments.
* Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes.
* Experience translating business requirements into technology solutions.
* Fluent English communication skills.
Preferred Experience
* Experience digitalizing planning processes within Life Sciences, Medical Devices, or Healthcare organizations.
* Knowledge of AI and advanced analytics in supply chain planning.
* Experience with inventory optimization initiatives.
* Exposure to Kinaxis, SAP IBP, OMP, Blue Yonder, or similar planning platforms.
* Understanding of regulated manufacturing and supply chain environments.
* Knowledge of data platforms and industrial digitalization solutions.
