Role Description This is a part-time remote Product Manager role responsible for guiding digital products from concept to launch and ongoing optimization. The Product Manager will collaborate with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to define product vision, prioritize features, and manage the product backlog. Daily tasks include gathering and analyzing user and market requirements, writing detailed user stories, and coordinating sprints to ensure timely delivery. The role also involves monitoring product performance metrics, synthesizing feedback from customers and internal teams, and proposing improvements that align with business goals. The Product Manager will facilitate cross-functional communication, maintain documentation, and help ensure that releases are well-tested, clearly communicated, and aligned with strategic objectives.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in product management, including defining product goals, managing backlogs, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
Strong skills in requirements gathering, user story writing, and translating customer needs into clear, actionable features.
Ability to use data and analytics tools to evaluate product performance, identify trends, and inform prioritization decisions.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working with remote engineering and design teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present product plans and outcomes to technical and non-technical audiences.
Comfort with remote collaboration tools and the discipline to work independently in a part-time, distributed environment.
Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in startups, fintech, or digital platforms is a plus, along with an interest in experimentation and user-centered design.
