You will work closely with our design team on new stores, experience centres, showroom displays, and interior-space projects—from early concepts and layouts to detailed drawings ready for execution. This role offers an opportunity to understand how materials, furniture, displays, and customer experience come together in a retail environment.
Location: Bengaluru

Key Responsibilities
Develop furniture layouts, space-planning drawings, and functional design solutions for retail and showroom spaces.
Prepare detailed store drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and execution-ready design documentation.
Assist with façade drawings and storefront design concepts that align with Material Depot’s visual identity.
Create store displays, product-display concepts, and visual-merchandising layouts for tiles, laminates, wall panels, flooring, and other interior materials.
Support the design team on new store launches, showroom upgrades, display zones, and experiential design projects.
Coordinate with internal teams to translate approved concepts into clear, accurate, and practical drawings for execution.
Help select and coordinate materials, colours, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and display elements.
Ensure drawings and layouts maintain attention to proportions, functionality, customer movement, and overall visual appeal.
Skills & Requirements
0–1 year of relevant experience in interior design, retail design, showroom design, or space planning.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp; familiarity with Revit or ArchiCAD will be an advantage.
Strong understanding of furniture layouts, spatial planning, design detailing, and technical drawings.
A good eye for materials, colours, proportions, finishes, and visual displays.
Ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple design tasks, and meet project timelines.
Interior Design degree/diploma preferred. Candidates with a B.Arch or degree in a related design field are also encouraged to apply.
If you are passionate about creating thoughtful, well-designed retail spaces and want to build your career through practical project experience, we would love to hear from you.
