Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an E3D Designer located in Bengaluru South. The E3D Designer will be responsible for creating and managing 3D models using E3D, producing detailed engineering drawings, assembling piping layouts, and generating material specifications. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure project accuracy and adherence to client specifications.
Qualifications
Proficiency in E3D modeling tools and detailed 3D engineering design
Experience in piping layout design, material specification, and integration of systems
Understanding of offshore and onshore pipeline engineering principles and project workflows
Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Knowledge of safety regulations and standards in the oil and gas sector
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering fields
Experience in the oil and gas industry or relevant engineering consultancy is a plus
Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
Required Educartion, Experience & Skills:
Candidate should be a Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical
Excellent knowledge in E3D, MS Office, AutoCAD & MicroStation.
Good knowledge in mechanical handling concepts
Good knowledge in conceptual layout study
Knowledge of support modelling – MDS, Special support Drawing genera􀆟on is preferred
Good Communication skills
06- 15 years of experience in above skills & responsibilities
Experience in Ammonia and Urea will be considered an added advantage
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and update 3D models and 2D drawings for piping, structural, and equipment layouts.
Interpret and apply engineering specifications, P&IDs, and project standards.
Coordinate with engineering disciplines to ensure design consistency and clash-free models.
Generate fabrication, construction, and as-built drawings.
Perform model reviews and participate in design coordination meetings.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
Maintain drawing records and revision control throughout the project lifecycle.
