Senior Payroll Specialist - GEMS International School Cairo

Process monthly payroll accurately and within established deadlines.
Review and validate payroll inputs, including salaries, allowances, overtime, deductions, bonuses, commissions, and benefits.
Maintain accurate employee payroll records and ensure confidentiality of payroll information.
Prepare payroll reports and payroll-related financial reports for management and Finance.
Ensure payroll processes comply with applicable labor and tax regulations.
Review and improve payroll processes to increase accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain payroll documentation and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Typically 3–5 years of payroll experience, with strong experience in a senior or specialist-level position.
Good understanding of labor laws, tax regulations, and social insurance requirements applicable to the country of employment.
Preferably experienced in payroll systems such as Mena-Itech.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data reconciliation.
