Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
Evaluate AI-generated software engineering solutions for technical accuracy, scalability, and code quality.
Analyze complex engineering scenarios and provide expert feedback to improve AI reasoning and performance.
Review software architecture, algorithms, and system design solutions against industry best practices.
Develop structured evaluation criteria and technical rubrics for software engineering tasks.
Collaborate with engineering and AI research teams to improve model capabilities across challenging coding and reasoning problems.
Produce clear technical documentation and written explanations to support AI training and evaluation.
Contribute to continuous improvement of AI-generated engineering outputs through expert analysis.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong background working at leading technology companies or on large-scale production systems.
Expertise in software architecture, system design, distributed systems, and modern software development practices.
Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting project deadlines.
Passion for advancing AI capabilities through expert technical evaluation.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience mentoring senior engineers or leading engineering teams.
Background in AI, machine learning, or developer productivity tools.
Previous experience reviewing technical assessments or conducting engineering interviews.

Project Details
Fully remote independent contractor engagement.
Flexible work schedule.
Expected commitment of approximately 20 hours per week.
Initial project duration of 2–3 weeks, with opportunities for extension based on project needs and performance.
Competitive hourly compensation of $150–$210, based on experience and location.
