Tetra Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is hiring experienced BIW CATIA Design Engineers for its Design / R&D team in Pune.
Job Details
Experience: 3–8 Years
Location: Pune
Salary: ₹3–6 LPA

Key Responsibilities
Develop and modify BIW components and assemblies using CATIA V5.
Perform 3D modelling, assembly detailing and design modifications.
Work on automotive BIW structures, closures and related components.
Prepare 2D drawings, GD&T and manufacturing documentation.
Coordinate with CAE, manufacturing, tooling and engineering teams.
Ensure designs comply with OEM standards, design guidelines and packaging requirements.
Participate in design reviews and resolve engineering issues.
Work on GSM components and systems wherever applicable.
Preferred GSM Exposure
Glass Systems
Sealing Systems
Window Mechanisms
Door Assemblies and Closure Mechanisms
Glass Run Channels and Weather Seals
Window Regulator Mechanisms
GSM Design Feasibility and Packaging
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience in CATIA V5.
Generative Shape Design (GSD).
Part Design and Assembly Design.
2D Drafting and Detailing.
BIW Design and Automotive Product Development.
GD&T, DMU/DFM and design engineering practices.
Knowledge of OEM specifications and design standards.
Preferred Experience
Automotive OEM or Tier-1 supplier experience.
BIW closures and automotive body systems.
Global automotive customer exposure.
Experience with GSM engineering components.
Team coordination and project management exposure.
