Information System Security Officer (Acct Mgmt), Junior (Top Secret)

RMC is hiring an Information Security Analyst for the role of Information Security Systems Officer (ISSO) to support our NAVAIR customer in Patuxent River, MD. The selected applicant will perform a variety of Information Assurance activities, including, but not limited to:
Ensuring System Authorization Access Requests (SAAR) for new accounts and existing account modifications are authorized, completed, and processed
Creation of SIPRNet tokens
Dormant account reactivation and maintaining the NMCI Account Dormancy List
Completion and routing of NIPRNet and SIPRNet account tickets
Completion and routing of Classified token tickets
Assist customers with processes and documentation required for account creation/modification
Provide support to the certification revocation process
The applicant shall be familiar with the following:
Project management.
Written and verbal communications.
Teamwork and collaboration.
Solid Customer Service skills
Ability to work on classified systems (i.e., SIPRNet) within secure environments.
Requirements
An AA/AS degree and up to three (3) years of relevant experience are required. A Junior level candidate is responsible for assisting more senior staff and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior staff.
A High School diploma/GED and two (2) years of additional experience performing work related to the labor category functional description may be substituted for an Associate’s Degree. An Associate’s Degree plus four (4) years of additional experience performing work related to the labor category functional description may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree. The selected applicant must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team in NAVAIR environments.
The applicant must meet the certification and clearance requirements established IAW the DoD Manual 8570. The applicant must have one of the following certifications to start:
Security+ CE
CAP / CGRC
GSLC
CND Cloud+
An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required to start. The applicant may be subjected to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000.
