We are looking for a Senior Kubernetes & Cloud Engineer with strong production experience in cloud-native infrastructure, Kubernetes, automation, and modern software engineering practices.
You will be responsible for designing, building, operating, and continuously improving highly scalable and reliable cloud platforms. The ideal candidate combines deep Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure expertise with hands-on software development experience and a strong focus on automation, quality, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage production-grade Kubernetes environments across cloud platforms.
Build and operate Kubernetes platforms using AKS, EKS, or similar managed Kubernetes services.
Develop scalable and secure infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and AWS; experience with GCP is a plus.
Implement and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, Pulumi, or similar Infrastructure-as-Code technologies.
Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and GitOps-based deployment workflows.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployments, monitoring, testing, and operational processes.
Troubleshoot complex issues across Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, networking, applications, and deployment pipelines.
Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps engineers, architects, and product teams to deliver reliable cloud-native solutions.
Contribute to application development using one or more of Python, Node.js, Next.js, or Java.
Apply software engineering best practices including TDD, XP programming, pair programming, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
Establish and improve engineering standards around reliability, security, observability, automation, and operational excellence.
Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and continuous platform improvement.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong production-level Kubernetes engineering experience.
Hands-on experience with AKS, EKS, or comparable managed Kubernetes platforms.
Strong cloud engineering experience with Azure and AWS.
Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
Practical experience with Terraform, Pulumi, or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
Strong understanding of CI/CD, GitOps, and automated deployment practices.
Full-stack or backend development experience with one or more of:
Python
Node.js
Next.js
Java
Experience with modern software development practices such as TDD, Extreme Programming (XP), pair programming, and code reviews.
Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, containers, networking, security, and observability.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional engineering environment.
