Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software Engineer role based in Indore. The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain core components of KiviDB’s in-memory cache and vector database, focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability. Daily responsibilities include implementing backend services and APIs, optimizing data structures and algorithms, writing clean and testable code, and reviewing code from peers. The role also involves troubleshooting and debugging production issues, collaborating with product and engineering teams to refine technical requirements, and contributing to system design and architecture discussions. The Software Engineer will help improve development workflows, automation, and documentation to ensure a robust engineering environment.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and systems concepts.
Hands-on experience in Software Development and Programming with modern languages (e.g., C++, Rust, Go, or similar).
Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, microservices, and server-side performance optimization.
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
Familiarity with databases, caching systems, or distributed systems is highly beneficial.
Ability to write efficient, well-tested code and use version control tools (e.g., Git).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in Indore.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
