BIW Underbody

Design and development of BIW Under Body components using UGNX / Siemens NX.
Create and modify 3D models, assemblies and 2D drawings as per design requirements.
Work on components such as:
Under Body: Floor, Cross Members, Long Members, Front/Rear Under Body, Brackets, Reinforcements, etc.
Perform design changes, ECN/ECR and engineering modifications.
Check component interfaces, packaging and assembly feasibility.
Perform DMU / clearance checks and support design validation.
Apply GD&T, tolerance stack-up and automotive design standards.
Coordinate with manufacturing, tooling, CAE and other design teams.
Support DFM/DFA activities and resolve design/manufacturing issues.
Prepare design documentation, drawings and release packages.
Ensure designs comply with OEM standards and project requirements.
