Bosch Power Tools North America is seeking a highly organized and results-oriented Channel Operations Manager to support the execution of commercial and digital shelf strategies across our key distribution partners, including HomeDepot.com, Lowes.com, Walmart.com and professional trade distributors. Reporting to the eCommerce Channel Management Lead, this role plays a key supporting function in enabling the e-commerce sales team by driving the execution of digital shelf optimizations, automated data reporting, and operational readiness for peak retail events and promotions.
This role will collaborate closely across sales, brand marketing, and operations teams to ensure Bosch and Dremel’s digital shelf presence is effectively executed and flawlessly represented across each retailer’s website, in alignment with in-store assortment and availability.
It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, enjoys technical and tactical execution, and is able to juggle multiple catalog and retailer priorities.
This role requires minimum 3 days per week on-site at the Mount Prospect, Illinois location, 2 work days may be remote. We are not offering relocation for this role.
What You Will Do:
Own digital shelf execution for the HomeDepot.com, Lowes.com, and Walmart.com catalogs, driving continuous improvement across traffic, discoverability, and item-level conversion metrics.
Drive organic discoverability by deploying targeted keyword strategies, optimizing on-site search rank, and maintaining accurate category placement and the attribute data that powers each retailer’s filters and faceted navigation.
Maximize product page conversion by auditing and ensuring content completeness, asset quality (imagery/video), enhanced and rich media content deployment, and brand page updates across each retailer.
Execute listing health protocols, proactively resolving supplier portal tickets, content syndication errors, product page and variation issues, and discrepancies between online and in-store availability and fulfillment options (e.g., ship-to-home, buy online pick up in store).
Deploy promotional and review tactics by executing retailer review and sampling programs (e.g., The Home Depot Seeds, Walmart Spark Reviewer) and review syndication, tracking rating/review sentiment, and ensuring accurate pricing, badging, and promotional display across the catalog.
Manage operational traffic alignment by reviewing organic versus paid search share, ensuring product listings are completely retail-ready to support retail media campaigns across Orange Apron Media, Lowe’s One Roof Media Network, and Walmart Connect.
Track competitive digital shelf metrics – including share of search, content quality scores, and competitor review positions, along with Walmart.com marketplace seller activity – to identify immediate operational optimization opportunities.
This role is hybrid remote with 60% monthly in-office presence in Mount Prospect, Illinois. (3 days in office per week).
3+ years of experience in e-commerce operations, digital shelf management, or online merchandising with a primary focus on home improvement or mass retail websites such as HomeDepot.com, Lowes.com, or Walmart.com.
Supported account management teams by executing retailer.com listing optimizations, promotional setups or new product launch deployments through retailer supplier portals.
Hands-on experience managing a retailer.com catalog, including a strong understanding of retailer content and attribute requirements, item setup processes, and supplier support ticketing.
Experience utilizing digital shelf tools and syndication platforms (e.g., Salsify, Syndigo, Profitero, Stackline, Walmart Retail Link) to publish content and monitor share of search, content quality scores, and competitor listings.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel for auditing massive catalog files (e.g., utilizing VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and pivot tables) and tracking digital shelf performance data.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
