Operations Supervisor - Mangere

The Opportunity
We are looking for a proactive and people-focused Operations Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of our Mangere depots.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee service delivery, support and develop your team, and ensure operations run safely, efficiently and reliably. You'll work closely with drivers, customers and key stakeholders to maintain high service standards while driving operational performance and continuous improvement.

Experience within transport, logistics, fleet operations or a similar environment.
Knowledge of driver management and route planning.
Experience working with compliance and health and safety requirements.
Understanding of workforce planning and resource allocation.
What You'll Do
Lead, support and develop a team of drivers and operational staff.
Coordinate daily operations to ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule.
Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Manage service disruptions and respond effectively to operational challenges.
Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing staff development.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, staff and stakeholders.
Investigate incidents and ensure appropriate follow-up actions are completed.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to achieve operational and business objectives.
Contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the depot.
