Florence manufacturing plant is the center of excellence for high tech turbomachinery components, and takes advantage of top notch technology in the industry such as additive manufacturing, advanced coatings, precision machining, robotics and automation.

As a Manufacturing Engineer at Baker Hughes you will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and improve manufacturing systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Collaborate with product design and development teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
Conduct time studies and workflow analysis to identify areas for improvement.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.
Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues to minimize downtime and ensure product quality.
Evaluate and recommend new equipment, technologies, and methods to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
Train and support production staff in the implementation of new processes and technologies.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role ideally you should have:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Diploma with proven experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in a high-volume production environment.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Fluent in English and Italian.
Experience with automation and robotics in manufacturing is a plus.
Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools is a plus.

For Italy: The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 43,600 To 70,000. The provisions of the Contratto Collettivo Energia e Petrolio will be applied to this position. Art. 32 and Art. 34 of that collective bargaining agreement relate to pay
