THE ROLE
We are hiring a Sr. Recruiter to build the teams behind the teams at Mariana Minerals. You'll own full-cycle recruiting across corporate functions, helping us scale a software-first critical minerals company from the ground up.
You'll partner directly with functional leaders to understand what great looks like, find people who have done this at fast-growing companies, and give every candidate an experience that reflects who we are. This is a great fit for someone who loves the full recruiting cycle, builds trust quickly with leaders, and wants to help shape how a company hires.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own full-cycle recruiting for G&A and corporate roles, from intake through offer close
- Partner with hiring managers and executives to define role requirements, hiring plans, and interview processes
- Build creative sourcing strategies for both active and passive candidates across finance, legal, HR, operations, procurement, and other functions
- Run personalized, thoughtful outreach that reflects our mission and stage
- Manage multiple searches at once while keeping a high quality bar
- Coach interviewers and hiring managers on structured interviewing, calibration, and debriefs
- Lead compensation conversations, close candidates, and manage competing offers
- Keep Ashby clean and current, and track pipeline health, time to fill, and other key metrics
- Share market insights on compensation, talent availability, and competitor activity
- Help build and improve recruiting processes, templates, and playbooks as we scale
- Represent Mariana Minerals with a warm, engaging, and transparent candidate experience
- Build diverse, high-quality pipelines across experience levels
- Opportunity to help build our early-career and university recruiting efforts, including internships and new grad hiring, as we grow
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with meaningful G&A or corporate recruiting in a high-growth startup or technology company
- Experience recruiting across a range of functions (finance, legal, people, operations, sales, marketing)
- Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and executives
- Strong sourcing skills, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and passive candidate outreachExperience building recruiting processes or playbooks from scratch
- Experience hiring for early-stage finance, legal, or people teams
- Familiarity with seed-to-Series B recruiting environments
- Expert in ATS tools (preference for Ashby)
- Strong written communication and personalized outreach skills
- Strong closing and negotiation skills
- Data-driven approach to pipeline management
- High ownership mindset and comfort with ambiguity
- Passion for building exceptional teams and creating outstanding candidate experiences
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with campus or early-career recruiting
- Experience in industrial, hardware, energy, mining, or deep tech companies
