About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

If you’ve been looking for an opportunity to work behind the scenes for some of the biggest content creators in the world and work at a company currently generating over 5 billion views per year on socials, then keep reading.
About Mirror Media Marketing:
We help podcasters and YouTubers grow their brand fast.
We're the team behind 5+ billion views a year, and our specialty is turning long-form content into short-form clips and graphics that reach billions of people. Since 2021, we've worked with 75+ creators and our aim is to help over 500 grow in the next 5 years.
Our team is global and we're growing quickly, with real opportunity for people who want to grow with us. If you're excited about content, creator culture, and helping ambitious brands scale, we'd love to talk.
The Role:
We’re hiring a Lead Creative Manager to take full ownership of our content review and strategy process for a set pod of clients. This role is hands-on: you’ll be reviewing and optimizing content daily, ensuring every piece we publish is top-tier, brand-aligned, and designed to drive client growth, as well as manage your pod of editors and graphic designers ensuring they are fully supported and tasks are completed on time.
Your mission is to make our clients’ results outstanding. You’ll experiment with editing styles, lead new creative strategies, analyze performance, and work directly with our creative and account management teams to deliver consistent results that keep clients retained and excited to grow with us.
What You’ll Own and Do:
Creative & Quality Control: Oversee all content before it’s sent to clients. Ensure each piece of content is up to quality, including: storytelling, hook strength, catching spelling errors and glitches, and platform fit. Nothing gets to the clients eyes without your sign-off.
Content Strategy & Performance: Analyze video performance across clients and guide the team toward what’s working. Spot patterns, test new hooks, and refine our approach to short-form growth.
Workflow & Process Oversight: Own the daily flow of content production, ensuring videos are reviewed, revised, and delivered on schedule. This includes coordinating with editors, reviewing content promptly, and keeping the entire creative pipeline unblocked and on track.
Leading + Managing the Creative Team: Host 1:1s, set the bar and ensure the team is setup for success daily. Keeping team retention on the creative team high.
Hands-On Support (as needed): Jump into Premiere Pro to troubleshoot, guide edits, or source content when necessary. Be a player-coach, not just a critic.
Brand & Creator Alignment: Understand each client’s brand, tone, and goals deeply. Help editors consistently hit the mark with every video.
Sourcing Clips: Watching podcasts/YouTube videos and identifying the best moments for clips for the editing team to edit.
What We’re Looking For:
2-3+ years in content production, with a heavy focus on short-form video (TikTok, Reels, Shorts).
2-3+ years of experience managing a team of direct reports ranging from 5-20+ people.
Deep understanding of social platforms, trends, and what makes content go viral.
Exceptional pattern recognition and editorial judgment, can spot a great clip from a mile away.
Advanced-level in Adobe Premiere Pro and short-form editing standards.
Organized, detail-obsessed, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and excellent at giving and receiving constructive feedback.
U.S. based with EST hours
Comfortable using tools like Discord, Google Drive, ClickUp, and Slack.
Why This Role Matters:
This is one of the most strategic roles we hire for at Mirror Media. You’ll help define how we scale, grow our team, and deliver exceptional client service.
