Role Description The Production Floor Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi, responsible for overseeing daily production operations and ensuring that output meets quality, safety, and efficiency standards. This role includes planning and organizing production schedules, coordinating resources, and monitoring workflow to meet targets and deadlines. The Production Floor Manager leads and supports floor teams, provides clear direction, and resolves operational issues as they arise. The position involves enforcing safety protocols, maintaining compliance with industry regulations, and collaborating with other departments such as maintenance, quality, and supply chain. The role also requires analyzing production data, implementing process improvements, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement on the production floor.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Production Planning and Production Management to coordinate schedules, resources, and output effectively.
Candidates should possess proven People Management and Team Leadership skills to guide, motivate, and develop production floor teams.
Candidates should possess experience or familiarity with the Food Industry to ensure compliance with relevant quality, hygiene, and safety standards.
Candidates should possess solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Candidates should possess effective communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and reporting on production performance.
Relevant experience in a supervisory or managerial role within manufacturing or production environments is preferred.
A diploma or degree in engineering, production management, food technology, or a related field is beneficial.
Knowledge of safety regulations, quality control practices, and continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean or Six Sigma) is an advantage.
