Company Description:
The NY Automotive Experience Center Inc. 501c3 - New York Auto Museum is a proposed 125,000-200,000+ square-foot facility in Manhattan and a dual charter corporation. Primarily operated as the New York Auto Museum Inc. with a nonprofit philanthropic wing the New York Auto Experience Inc. 501c3.
With features like a massive rooftop patio and partial glassed floors, future visitors wil be able to view historical vehicles from unique perspectives. The museum aims to redefine the traditional concept of an Automotive Museum by providing an interactive and immersive experience that allows visitors to sit up to 100 different vehicles.

Role Description: Board of Directors/Advisors
This is a contract remote position for a Member of the Board of Directors at the New York Auto Museum. The role is remote, requiring your presence online monthly. Members will collaborate on financial planning, analyze data, conduct research, participate in fundraising efforts, and contribute to marketing strategies.
Job Overview: Membership plays a critical role in guiding the strategic direction and Governance of the organization. Members are expected to provide leadership oversight and support to ensure the organization achieves its mission and objectives.
This position requires a commitment to the organization's values and a willingness to engage in meaningful discussions that shape the future of the New York Auto Museum.
Brand Ambassador:
As a Brand Ambassador, you will work to represents and promote the New York Auto Museum, with the goal of increasing brand awareness. Act as a public face for the Museum online and off, often engaging with interested parties to share positive information about the company and its offerings.
Duties:
* Provide strategic guidance and oversight to ensure effective governance and management.
* Engage in business development initiatives to foster growth and sustainability.
* Lead process improvement efforts to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
* Help oversee operations management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
* Manage project management activities, ensuring timely execution of key initiatives.
* Negotiate contracts and agreements that align with the organization's strategic objectives.
* Participate in strategic planning sessions to define long-term goals and objectives.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to assess risks and opportunities impacting the organization.
Experience:
* Proven experience in senior leadership roles.
* Strong background in business development, with a track record of successful initiatives.
* Demonstrated expertise in process improvement methodologies and operations management.
* Experience in project management, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
* Solid understanding of strategic planning principles and practices.
* Exceptional negotiation skills, with experience in managing complex agreements.
* Strong leadership capabilities, fostering collaboration and engagement among stakeholders.

Requirements:
- 4-8 hours per month active talks, and meetings with the team.
- Attend one monthly board meeting 75% of the year
- Sign the participating agreement
- The position is for one year and auto renews
- Agree to pursue one line item (semi-self-directed initiative)
