Role Description The Credit Analyst role at Centrum Finance Solutions is a full-time remote position focused on evaluating the creditworthiness of clients and counterparties. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing financial statements, reviewing credit reports, assessing risk profiles, and preparing clear, structured credit recommendations. The Credit Analyst will monitor existing credit exposures, track portfolio performance, and support credit risk mitigation strategies in line with company policies. The role also involves collaborating with finance and business teams to provide insights on credit terms, contributing to credit approval processes, and communicating findings in a concise, professional manner. This position requires consistent documentation, adherence to regulatory and internal guidelines, and proactive identification of emerging risks.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Credit and Credit Management, with experience assessing creditworthiness and monitoring credit risk.
Advanced Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and present evidence-based conclusions.
Knowledge of Finance principles, including financial statement analysis, cash flow assessment, and basic corporate finance concepts.
Effective Communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex credit analyses clearly in written reports and verbal discussions.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial analysis tools; familiarity with credit scoring systems or risk models is beneficial.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a remote environment.
Experience in banking, lending, or financial services is an advantage, as is knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to credit.
