Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Medical Technologist at GRG Health. The Medical Technologist will support healthcare market research projects by applying laboratory medicine expertise to interpret clinical data and contribute to evidence-based insights. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and validating laboratory-related information, supporting quality control checks on clinical datasets, and collaborating with analysts to ensure scientific accuracy in research outputs. The role also involves contributing medical technology perspectives to client deliverables, participating in cross-functional discussions with research and technology teams, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of laboratory practices and relevant medical standards.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Medical Technology and Laboratory Medicine, with the ability to interpret and contextualize clinical and diagnostic data.
Hands-on Laboratory Skills, including familiarity with common testing procedures and an understanding of lab workflows and documentation.
Experience with Quality Control in laboratory or clinical settings, ensuring data reliability, compliance, and adherence to relevant standards.
Broad understanding of Medicine to support clinical relevance and accuracy in healthcare market research and related analyses.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Medical Technology, Laboratory Medicine, Clinical Sciences, or a related healthcare field.
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with attention to detail in reviewing medical and laboratory information.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional and remote teams.
Comfort working in a technology-enabled environment; familiarity with digital tools, data platforms, or healthcare analytics is a plus.
Prior experience in healthcare research, clinical laboratories, or life sciences consulting is advantageous but not mandatory.
