Role Description The Carpenter role at Gulf Europe All Company is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Carpenter will perform day-to-day carpentry tasks such as measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing wooden structures and fixtures. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting drawings, constructing frames, installing doors, windows, and cabinets, and completing finishing work to required quality standards. The role involves safe use and maintenance of hand tools and power tools, inspecting work for accuracy and durability, and collaborating with supervisors and team members to meet project timelines. The Carpenter is expected to follow all safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, and support continuous improvement of work processes.
Qualifications
Strong foundational skills in carpentry, including measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing wooden structures.
Ability to work with hand tools (e.g., hammers, chisels, saws) safely and accurately.
Proficiency in using power tools and equipment while adhering to safety standards.
Experience with framing, including structural frameworks for walls, roofs, and partitions.
Skills in finish carpentry, such as installing trim, moldings, doors, windows, and cabinetry to a high-quality standard.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and work instructions.
Attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety and quality.
Physical ability to perform manual work, including lifting, standing, and working in various site conditions.
Previous experience as a Carpenter or relevant vocational training is preferred.
Ability to work cooperatively with diverse teams and follow site supervision and company policies.
