Position: Validation Engineer (CE30SF RM 4490)
Required
3+ years of experience in validation and test development for embedded systems
Design, implement, and maintain test plans and test cases for embedded software
Experience in Independently understanding and following test strategy, test plan, and test specification.
Experience with CI/CD platforms, pipeline development, and automation
Knowledge of Jenkins administration and maintenance
Python scripting experience
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing of low‑level drivers, middleware, and example applications.
Execute tests on real hardware as well as in simulated or pre‑silicon environments, where applicable.
Analyse test results, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers to debug and resolve defects.
Contribute to improving test coverage, test automation, and test infrastructure.
Validate software behaviour across different MCU variants, boards, and configurations.
Ensure delivered software meets quality, reliability, and maintainability expectations.
Document test results clearly and communicate findings across teams.
Working knowledge of GIT or similar version control systems.
Experience troubleshooting test environments
Comfortable working in Linux and Windows environments
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
Skilled in usage of AI tools to increase self-efficiency
Knowledge of cryptography
Development using NXP products MCUXpresso SDK, BSPs, or low‑level drivers.
Realtime operating systems in embedded environments.
Automotive or industrial quality standards (e.g. ASPICE, ISO 26262).
