Role Description The Licensed Health & Life Insurance Agent – Remote role is a full-time position responsible for advising clients on health and life insurance products that align with their needs and budgets. Each day, the agent engages with prospective and existing clients via phone, video, and digital channels, conducts needs assessments, explains coverage options, and provides compliant product recommendations. The agent manages the full sales cycle, including quoting, application assistance, policy placement, and follow-up to ensure client satisfaction and retention. The role also includes maintaining accurate records, staying current on insurance regulations and product changes, and collaborating with internal teams to meet individual and team performance goals. This position is fully remote, requiring reliable internet access and a professional, client-focused work environment.
Qualifications
Strong Insurance Sales and Insurance Brokerage skills, with the ability to manage the full sales process from prospecting to closing.
Solid understanding of Insurance products, particularly health and life insurance, and the ability to explain coverage options clearly.
Foundational Finance knowledge to discuss premiums, benefits, and cost comparisons with clients.
Excellent Customer Service skills, including active listening, empathy, and professional communication across phone and digital channels.
Active state licenses in Health Insurance and Life Insurance (or ability to obtain licenses within a defined timeframe).
Proven experience in a quota-driven environment, preferably in insurance, financial services, or related fields.
Comfort working remotely with strong time management, self-motivation, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with CRM systems, online quoting tools, and standard office software.
Commitment to regulatory compliance, ethical sales practices, and confidentiality of client information.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in insurance or finance are beneficial.
