Transport Supervisor – Minchinbury, NSW
Shift Pattern – 7 day fortnight – Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every 2nd Wednesday.
04:00am – 4:00pm
About the role and opportunity on offer -
Toll Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Transport Supervisor to join our growing Grocery Division in Minchinbury, NSW. In this fast-paced operational leadership role, you'll oversee daily transport activities, coordinate drivers and fleet movements, and ensure safe, efficient, and on-time deliveries across the Sydney basin. Reporting into the Operations Manager, you'll play a critical role in driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and team performance.
As a Transport Supervisor, you'll lead day-to-day transport operations, ensuring service level targets are met while maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance, and customer outcomes. You'll engage closely with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to –
Lead and coordinate daily transport operations and labour resources to achieve service level targets.
Manage the dispatch of drivers, trucks, and shipments to ensure on-time delivery performance.
Promote and champion a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with OHS and site requirements.
Build strong relationships with drivers, customers, and operational stakeholders.
Monitor delivery performance and proactively resolve operational issues and delays.
Drive operational efficiency while supporting profitability and customer satisfaction objectives.
What You'll Bring to be successful in this role:
Previous experience in a transport, logistics, fleet, or operations supervisory position.
Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
High attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Exposure to transport operations, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), and Fatigue Management practices is highly regarded.
