Role Description The Cybersecurity Trainee will support the security team in monitoring systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and assisting with basic threat analysis. Daily tasks include learning and applying security frameworks, reviewing logs and alerts, documenting findings, and helping prepare reports on potential risks and remediation steps. The trainee will collaborate with senior security professionals, participate in hands-on training with AI-driven VAPT tools, and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and playbooks. This is a full-time remote role, requiring consistent availability during standard working hours and proactive communication in a distributed team environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess foundational skills in Cybersecurity and Information Security.
Candidates should possess skills in Network Security and Application Security.
Candidates should possess awareness of broader Cyber risk, threat landscapes, and basic security best practices.
Basic understanding of operating systems, networks, and common security tools (e.g., SIEM, vulnerability scanners) is beneficial.
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to document technical findings in a structured way.
Relevant coursework, certifications in progress (such as Security+, CEH, or equivalent), or academic projects in cybersecurity are an advantage.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, collaborate with a global team, and follow ethical security practices.
