Role Description The Communicative English Trainer will design and deliver interactive English lessons that emphasize speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills for learners at different proficiency levels. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting classroom sessions, assessing learner performance, and providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement. The trainer will organize activities such as group discussions, role plays, presentations, and language games to build confidence and fluency. Additional tasks include maintaining accurate records of learner progress, collaborating with colleagues to refine course materials, and participating in academic meetings or workshops. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Villupuram, requiring consistent classroom presence and active engagement with learners.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong English language skills, including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and clear spoken and written communication.
Candidates should possess teaching-related skills such as lesson planning, classroom management, learner assessment, and the ability to adapt methods to different proficiency levels.
Candidates should possess interpersonal and facilitation skills, including patience, empathy, active listening, and the ability to motivate and engage diverse learners.
Candidates should possess basic educational technology skills for using digital tools, presentations, and online resources to support communicative learning.
Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred; teaching certifications in ESL/EFL or communicative English are an advantage.
Prior experience as an English trainer, language instructor, or tutor is beneficial, especially in communicative or activity-based classrooms.
Ability to work full time on-site in Villupuram, maintain punctuality, and contribute positively to a collaborative academic environment.
