Piper Companies is seeking a DevOps IAM Engineer to join a leading technology-focused organization supporting enterprise cloud infrastructure and identity security initiatives. The DevOps IAM Engineer will play a key role in designing, automating, and maintaining identity and access management solutions across cloud environments, with a strong focus on Infrastructure as Code, Microsoft Entra ID, and enterprise automation.
Responsibilities of the DevOps IAM Engineer:
Design, implement, and support Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions across enterprise cloud environments.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments utilizing Terraform and Terragrunt.
Manage and optimize Microsoft Entra ID environments, including identity governance, access controls, and authentication services.
Automate IAM provisioning, deprovisioning, and policy enforcement processes through CI/CD pipelines and scripting.
Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
Monitor IAM platforms and troubleshoot identity-related issues across hybrid and cloud environments.
Support cloud security initiatives, RBAC implementation, privileged access management, and least-privilege access strategies.
Qualifications of the DevOps IAM Engineer:
5+ years of experience in DevOps, IAM, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.
Hands-on experience with Terraform and Terragrunt in enterprise environments.
Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management concepts, including SSO, MFA, RBAC, federation, and identity governance.
Experience administering and engineering solutions within Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
Experience supporting Azure cloud environments and cloud-native security services.
Proficiency with CI/CD tools, automation frameworks, and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Understanding of security best practices, compliance frameworks, and access management controls.
Experience working in remote, collaborative Agile environments preferred.
Compensation for the DevOps IAM Engineer includes:
Salary range: $130,000 - $155,000 depending on experience
Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO
